2D Barcode Hub

Privacy Policy

How 2D Barcode Hub handles brand and scan data.

Last updated 27 April 2026. This policy describes how the platform handles brand workspace data, product content, scan analytics, and scan action submissions.

Brand account data

We collect workspace details, industry category, user names, email addresses, billing references, product content, QR settings, scan actions, batch records, and uploaded media so brands can operate product passport pages and 2D barcode workflows.

Consumer scan analytics

When a consumer opens a public scan page, we store the product scanned, URL path, timestamp, referrer, user agent, and approximate location data passed by the hosting or proxy layer. IP addresses are hashed before storage and are used for aggregate analytics, abuse prevention, and operational diagnostics.

Scan forms

If a brand enables a scan action form, the consumer may choose to submit name, email, phone, and country. Those submissions belong to the brand workspace and should only be used for the purpose described beside the form.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. 2D Barcode Hub stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, but card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by 2D Barcode Hub.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery, and billing. Brand product pages are public when products are set to live.

Retention and deletion

Brand account data is retained while the workspace is active. Scan analytics and form submissions may be exported or deleted on request, subject to security, billing, and legal retention needs.
